As the Irish Women’s Football team make history playing in their first World Cup, the story of of the struggle for equality in pro-surfing will be shown on Friday 28th July from 7:30pm in Lahinch Leisure Centre with a screening of “Girls Can’t Surf”.
MEP Grace O’Sullivan, herself a lifelong surfer and current surf coach in Tramore, will be bringing the docu-film to the seaside town in collaboration with local Green Councillor Liam Grant and Senator Róisín Garvey.
Attendance is free, with spaces available on a first-come first-served basis on the night. All are welcome.
