MEP Grace O’Sullivan will be raising funds for Gaza in the coming weeks through screenings of the documentary ‘Mayor’, the 2020 Award-winning documentary focusing on the life of the Mayor of Ramallah, Musa Hadid. This feature-length documentary shows how Hadid has aimed to lead the State of Palestine's de facto administrative capital into the 21st century, in the face of an ongoing Occupation.
This event is happening alongside MEP O’Sullivan’s and her European Colleagues’ unrelenting calls for a ceasefire in Gaza and for a total shift in the EU’s approach to the violence in Gaza.
The upcoming screenings will be held on Wednesday 15th November in Dolan’s Pub in Limerick, starting at 8pm, and on Saturday 18th November in St. Patrick's Gateway in Waterford, with more to be announced.
Tickets will be free of charge with donations accepted throughout the night. All funds raised will be donated directly to Medecins Sans Frontieres in Gaza.
